Crème Nouveau was recently picked from the wonderful pool of designers at www.craftnation.com to design an Item of Jewellery for Ford’s 100th UK Anniversary – out of car parts! Presented with juicy pieces of Ford Focus, the task was to reassemble the assortment into the visually inspiring and unique piece below. Pushing the limits of Retro, the necklace combines car radio buttons with nuts and bolts, circuit boards, speed dials and (of course) some luxuriously feminine splashes of diamante…

You can now find the twinkle deluxe collection at bankfield museum in Halifax. They are exhibiting work form 70 makers from the uk for their Christmas show. Exhibition is on until the 23rd of jan so if you’re in midlands pop along for a lovely festive day out.
